- I style by connecting with the colour, soul, spirit within and I receive visions of colour, wrapping, draping, and how the spirit wants to express - we get so muffled in the opinions and ideas of others, patterns, habits, we get stuck - stagnant - energy is everything - this year - commit to having fun with fashion - - bring out a new version of you -  

I love bringing an outfit together - I can go into any closet and bring out what would never be considered and make any old be new - that is my gift - 

I am a crystal - - I make something out of nothing and I can make any old - new 

And don't forget 'THRIFTING' for your belts - ReUSE, RECYCLE - - -

When I was little - I use to re-arrange the furniture the second my parents would leave for a party or evening out - and they would come home and the house would be re-arranged

I would go through my moms jewelry boxes and play and put various stones, and jewels together - 

I would play with make up and bring the unseen to the fore - 

The playing dress up was endless and bringing your unique style to life - - - just remember when you played and didn't care what others thought - - 

Always been more androgynous than any - I would wear and can bring any look and make it work - 

Simply 'don't give a fuck' what any one thinks - I wear what I want - and how I want - - 

I would love to do a book bag and belt line with a top brand - or actually I will do my own --- - -

I then carried this into my styling role

 - - I would help women feeling so low and ugly about themselves and bring new life for the spirit within - - our spirit within needs new new new - - - bring yourself to be NEW - - colour, look, style, anything - break old patterns - cycles for growth is are paramount and fashion helps us grow and be new - 

Get creative - and express anew - 

I like to pull my belts in union with a bag and shoe - - these are the classic tips for me - - 

then the jewelry - if you have a few really good leather belts - you can use them with most outfits for everyday wear - - - it is the way you style and move with fabric and colour - - 

- and so I would have certain days in which clients would visit and watch me pull a store of items and whistle through the dressing areas and bring new life to those ready for a new look and style - Accessories can be over done and misused - it is about the vibration within 

Fashion tips for DM - - belts, jewelry, - - - any man can pull off bracelets - if the other stylists were having trouble completing the scene or touches

- the other stylists would call me for the final review - 'what does Joanna think?' and I would go back and sometimes start from scratch - - styling is intuitive and some are tapped in and some are simply putting together what is in the latest Paris looks - - I would help the other stylists connect with what the client said, feels wants, and how to play with accessories to pull a look they would not have tried without a softened eye - -

You can set off 'old' looks with new and the right accessories - it is reading the energy of the spirit within and what the person is truly wanting to convey - - -

 

I love how Daniel Scranton wears his bracelets - he will and can pull of whatever jewelry he wants - it is his vibe 

Any combination of stones, colours, textures can be done - it is about your vibe carrying it -  

Very sexy when you wear and live as you live in honour of your soul and spirit -

I was known for flow of blocking, bringing balance, colour, and divine elegance and the use of belts - belts were my speciality with any suit, dress, or pulled together various themes in one - - 

Blocking should be done 'subtlety' - - -- some can literally never go outside the lines - but you are meant to flow, create, allow - 

how long your torso is, how long your legs are, and your hips - - - all play a part in blocking with style and grace - - equality to all aspects of your form - - I personally love belts - my old belt collection was a grand one - I have minimized - due to 'space' but there is truly nothing that can make or break an outfit like a belt 

- I have even worn several belts at the same time

- my style is always has been eclectic

- I do not fashion 'off runway' - I take pieces and colours and heed the spirit within - 

Some days are more 'boho' and freestyle, and some are tailored 

- I love a tailored suit - great fabric is everything and textures delight any outfit -- - - if it is even a scarf or a bag - you can pair natural stones with big Gold chain 

- I think men are very sexy when they can pull off whatever their key core vibe is and then pull in another juxtaposition of elements 

- ie; gold with natural stones or a diamond stud with stone crystal - its hot!  ( Johnny Depp did this with ease and fun )

Fashion is how you wear your spirit - for the play and pleasure of it all -- - -

- it is about the vibe within - and bring it forth with proper 'tight; flow, layering' it is a gift 

- - can be overdone and misused but the true gem is that you have fun with fashion, colour, accessories and challenge yourself to get a new 'style' that can help you express who you truly are 

- - fashion is meant for us to explore, express, play, and be excited of acting out, being our most sexiest, or understated - - whatever vibe you want to play 

- - - fashion assists us in our evolution and the celebration to 'play' - - - - there is no 'wrong' in new earth star styling - - be playful - - live in your authentic alignment

- you can feel tailored one day and dressy the next and flowy and lofty the next - - Belts are a must - - - belts CHANGE every outfit the belt is jewelry for your most precious placement - your hips and creative portals - solar plexus, and sacral 

- a ton of energy and sexinessYET - - - Spirit wants to PLAY   - -- - find belts that are good quality leather - ( check out thrift stores, and your parents closet ) worn and used even better - simply cleanse before wearing - lofty, loose, worn, and teathered leather is very sexy - drape at the hip bone - matters not your weight  - so release all notions of 'belts are only for skinny people' - -- - fuck that 

- - - any age, any weight - get out your belts and play * I cannot tell you the women I have assisted in releasing such limiting beliefs and transmuting the 'desire to be sexy and play at any age, weight, look; - 'belts are for skinny people' - - cannot count how many times I have heard that - its bull!!!!!
