Few and far between when it is held within what I call vibrational alignment of pure craft, creative genius and the ability to have longevity for being true to knowing, growing, being the immense 'change of life' and sharing it unapologetically with a collective that aches for deeper, meaningful, resonant, and higher aligned music ~ creative genius, and display of what is possible in the trust of the creative process.
and although I have not included all but the belly of genius is here and if you sit and listen to any of the songs, albums, or even rando's you will be moved in some way to the return of what is the meaning of; authentica, genuine, pure, raw, even gutt wrenching pouring and leaving it all on the table for all to choose how they feel about the expression - that is the genius I want to explore and how it affects all within our collective and the shift of awareness, story-telling, feeling, emotional navigating very profound times of rising above any conformity and less than many cannot make it out of - but some do and make a difference in knowing - - 'our ability to create and share is our oneness' and it is our evolution ~
These creatives offer their unique influence, mastery, genius and impact that few have done and write how, why, to inspire more to go outside of conformity of what is 'genius' and how it can be offered to ignite anew
Oftentimes genius is not in the number of records sold - or pushing of the provocative box until it is so old hat
- the creative genius is in the unexpected timing, precision of craft, or depth an artist that can rawly drop a line, note, perfection in timing, delivery, punctuation of intensity, musicianship, complexity of instrumental difficulty, through the pouring out of heart breaking loss, the ability to tap into and mould something out of nothing - that is genius and it is held within us all - reminding us to no matter what you face - 'live life' and never fear feeling what you have to feel
- that is what genius is all about, and why it is important to have people like me, with 0 link to the 'industry' but profound link to sound, harmonics, collective needs, healing, higher realms, higher knowing, the spirit of genius, and vibrations of what all creation is made of and what have we been missing, what have we been paying attention to and what is a new way to perceive 'creative genius' that is EVERYTHING to understanding who we are, to healing, to sharing, to our evolution and more importantly 'connecting to the journey we truly are all on'

There are certain 'expectations our brain wants to hear in music, and those that create from an 'unexpected place, in how they initiate, express, their creation is a key code to various geniuses that are coded in ways that are far more advanced than the generation before - and is meant to be this way - for there is a lot of research and study being done now with 'how' the brain processes music and how its affects are upon our processing, understanding, and even healing - -
There are beats, counting in time of 4/4 or other natural rhythms that are now shifting into and from those that can bring forth a new niche of creative genius for the higher functioning - be it storytelling, rhythms and unexpected timing, difficulty of musicianship, or timing shifts, or complexity of word, prose, and soul lifting emotion - it is all a sign of higher times and deeper richer connection
Mavericks - What is a maverick - -
Mavericks are the ones that pave the way for others - they are the ones that have regardless of naysayers and rebuttal, denial and suppression, regardless of the abuses - they get up. No matter what the mavericks go against - they will keep doing bringing what they do - no numbers, no seemingly superficial looks of the judgments previously brought - they will bring it - however they can to pave anew - they are the mavericks that are designed for breaking old and bringing new
Mavericks are the ones that despite all the contrary - they are the idol standing on stage in their pure and raw form that all others ache to have the balls to be as expressive as they are
; be it crazy in talent, crazy in comedy, crazy in voice, or musicianship - they are the ones you look to for an ounce of the beast they bring to the stage and for all to know 'all is possible' and the mavericks pave the way for the expression within us all - the shadow, the ego maniac, the heart-breaker, the victim, the arisen, the one that will simply not 'give up' and no matter what - their offering has changed all of creation in them simply being who they are
Creative Genius - to be as, we shall be the hero of our own divine story, song, painting, offering and be known as a 'good human' and helping where we can, how we can, and be known for a little more than a divine simple truth, higher truth, lyric, or tearful coming together of what was really broken - - to be held squarely in the story we ache to tell
- - - The Creative Genius is within and can allow only a snapshot of this list to unfold inspirations of your own 'ICON and Maverick' list and then begin your own creation of expression
- - in my most profound mavericks and icons and this is not totality of talent by any means
- - only the ones that when I lay in bed at night and when I think of any way, or any day I was shown of myself on stage - then left 'not good enough' these icons and mavericks show up the way that inspires all to keep doing & 'get up' & keep going
- My offering is divine, I know that - but I read energy, and there are some artists that you cannot put your finger on why, how, what way they do what they do and it will never be brought again - their offering - I see what they have inspired within me and many to always see how inspiration of song, creating, writing is so vital to the evolution of humanity in new ways
In a light life of being high functioning, lied to my entire life, suppressed to not ask what I needed to ask, and not see what I had seen and certainly not talk and share who I was - - music was the only thing that made sense when the rest of the world did not - it was an absolute escape for me - I would get lost in melodies and sounds, and complexity of 'making music' - it was a safe place, space, to imagine and dream
to be new and to be raw, to be trusting of what is within and how may I be a little new and trusting in me?
Icons - What are the icons - -
Icons are the ones that regardless of who may have been before them or after them, they stand in their pure and raw state being unedited and undeniable talent and for some unknowing and unimagining of themselves and that is what makes these beings even more of an artist, and genius icon
- most would never claim themselves to be icons - it is what is resonant in their passionate bursts of lyricism, belting it out with every raw inch of their being ness and their innate ability to bring what is the most undeniable and questionable 'how'd they do that' to everything they touch
- - - the icons are the ones that simply cannot and few will ever seem, never want to place beside in ever comparing - for there just cannot be - - it is a gift of the divine that each have managed to be, not quit, and keep pursuing until it became them and them it - - it is the unexplainable divine in expression
- and it comes in all genres, all shades of grey and white and is meant to - like the infinite versions of God, Source, creativity and talent is such; it is meant to inspire, ignite, heal, torment, and pull what is within to transform humanity in every lyric, or note, or comedic skit - - it is the flow of life; and from the belly of pain and hollow-beingness can be expressed in the form of song, comedy, musical or prose
- - genius is wrought with every word and harmony and the world is forever changed - this is what an icon is - and they live this in every time they stand before any - - - it is simply a gift and they live it unapologetically and forever and all creation is forever altered - - -
To trust yourself enough to share, to be and to express - it is what our new 5D templates are inviting in and why we must close out the end of an era of what has been 'industry' and perhaps see who we are and what we exist within and what is within us each and spark new beginnings and new stories of who we have been and what the fuck we are able to get up from ~~~ let's celebrate - -
I will give a short summary of why, a few key lines, and what vibrational story, channel, and what energy or message spirit has about each of these I have that are always my 'go to' for inspiration, and although I may not know or listen to all of the albums any of these mavericks and icons have created - or know anything about the genre and what it is at the depths of a process of creating music - I have always been married to this in deep respect of musical creation - and truly what it requires
- I read vibrational stories, the field, the collective, and how harmonics is shifting based on our consciousness and what may be required for our newly birthing worlds and ways of intention, creative craft, and allowance to be more than we ever thought possible
I bring such new insights about the genius of music in my creations - Music is my core vibration - I was first breathed by Source as a song, and the Mother, Father, and I created realms of crystals and planets of grace and beauty of the very essence of sound - it is always in my lifetimes and I have a knack for reading the inter-facing that is evolution and beings of sound - as we all are - vibrational beings of sound -
The words you tell yourself, sell yourself - becomes you - it is a song - the outer is a song of our inner and what Source allows is our own allowance of higher and higher resonance - dimensional bandwidth is our harmonic and where we sit is what we intend, focus, direct our being-ness just as love is a vibration, so too is loss, hunger, passion, and joy - and there is a craft and it has been lost but the few that trust in the spiritual and soulful process that is 'creating and expressing' in the way you truly were meant to
- - some trust themselves as creative beings - for it is not taught within our systems and it is pulled out of us in old conformed expectations, dogma and systems of debauchery and cloning sameness - there are a few that do and can embody creativity as if it were breath itself - and until a genius lyric or song is breathed, and skit is born, new energy, light is offered
- - and it will simply never be forgotten and never be replicated - it shouldn't be - - just be honoured in the courage it takes to put yourself out there - no matter what - get up and keep going - -

My intent with this article is to bring the respect required for who we truly are and always have been as divine ignitors of new life, new spontaneous combustion of what a raw offering of talent and gift of simply being who you are meant to be, offer what you are meant to offer, be it spiritual truths never said and known, or healing light, healing sounds of off world languages or divine comedy that heals hearts and brings humanity together in our ability to see others stories, perspectives, hearts, souls journey that we each navigate and we each are on - we are all human - regardless of beliefs, colour, sexual preference, how we live, and what we can see, know, or express - we are all one family and music has been our language that bridges all diversity and challenges on any border
- how we live life from the same emotions and same feelings - - -this is our oneness and our diversity of being one; music has been our 'go to' for connection, understanding, healing, being, letting go, rising up, being new
Whether an artist brings a trigger, a pain, a memory, loss, or union and whatever and however the art is wrapped - it will leave you forever changed
- this is and should never have been an 'industry' and why it attracted very bad corrupt managers, and deaths to the ones I will list that lost their life and their iconic craft too soon and thus, creation forever altered
- - - the divine passion of creativity is our existence and without inspiration, being 'in-spirit'-ion - the essence of spirit flowing through us and we must say, sing, dance, paint, what we simply must - and trusting this transformational process of being in union with your gifts should be a divine exchange and divine gratitude - for nothing is ever entered within us - swelling and pulling within us unless the essence of being spirit is with it 100 - -
Spirit within us allows us to feel so very deeply it hurts, and to hurt in loss, to hurt in the loving of another, and the corruption of the breaking, or the bringing of new life - it is the essence and storytelling of life
Spirit within us allows us to remember, to forget, to be embedded with pain, sorrow and then love again, or hope and promise and whatever the talent is - trust in IT - for IT is spirit in motion bringing the collective to new awakenings and new potential - - - fair and divine exchange of spiritual being-ness and why when those that choose, or forced, enforced, suppressed out of creative expression, and stop being creative do undoubtedly get ill, sick, diseased, even commit death upon themselves
- it is life itself and we can pull it out however we wish to FEEL again - - - we are higher vibrational beings - and we require to never retire from feeling; never look away to the blatant before you and the oppressive, suppressive, or heart breaking losses that make us feel again - we can heal and we can be new
- - - feel what you have to feel and as Tupac offered me a short while ago - - 'speak what you need to say; fuck the fall' it is exactly why you have that same verse going through your mind, and why you see the words, and numbers, and angels you do - - - its creation living through you
- and all are their own divine icon and maverick - this is the intent of this article - - -
JUST A REMINDER - - - MOST of what I offer is channelled from the energy of the collective, passed on spirit, the beings themselves and the energy in the 'field' - - - it cannot be judged nor discredited - - it simply is truth of vibration and what each artist carries in the field or imprints they left behind

This is not in order of importance - - for all hold their own importance for various and unique reasons on the IMPACT of and to creation, the collective, and the creative expression which is EVERYTHING to our evolution healing and being anew!!!
These icons are new and old - from a smallest of being on this planet - my life was music; my head pressed against the speakers on our living room floor, trying to learn every word of every song on every record of my parents huge record collection; it was my hobby, it was my obsession, and back in the day when there were no iPhones or playlists, or youtube, I would sit and colour, do art, and listen to music, and was usually placed in charge of music at the neighbourhood parties, BarBQs and basement 'solid gold' dance-athons I would put on
My dad played guitar with his 'ball playing' friends and parties were constant in our house on weekends and the monthly street block parties - - - we had an old record player that rolled 33's and the collection took up most of the floor; I would flip through and wonder how they did what they did and sang what they sang - until 'walk-mans' were invented - the floor of the record player was where I lived - listening to Simon & Garfunkel, Elvis, Roger Whittaker, Abba, Neil Diamond, all the 50's 70's was an every Saturday all day long playlist - - - and you could hear 'Joanna, change the record' - - ring through the house
And so - - let's begin
* Elvis - a star seed, from the Blue star Rigel - very spiritual being & knew his mission was important & unfortunate very bad management - he was an icon on all levels, acting, singing, performing, there will never be another Elvis - pure raw talent and he was true to the core of knowing of spirit directing his souls calling for music and most do not know, rare recordings of him talking to psychics and spirit channels for his alignment and reconnection from the higher realms he channelled when he performed
* Janis Joplin - a star seed and at heart recluse - she was a sacred seed of originality - her voice and brazen talent on any stage was enough to make any person drop their drink and simply sit in awe of her 'other worldly' transformation in all she offered - pure talent and her life was cut far too short in the mismanagement of her energy and creative talent that most highly functioning beings can get lost in their own storytelling and misfit-ness to manifest their way to the otherworlds' they ache to return to
- - such an icon for DF and what is possible when you simply sing, get up and sing and never rely on any to tell you who you should be and regardless of 'not being traditionally pretty and attractive' and why the 'industry' is so corrupt and lost its very best - the intentions were all wrong - money makes the world go 'round mentality rather than 'pure raw talent is our creative spark E=MC2'
* poor management and corrupt characters around her in similar outcome as Marilyn Monroe
* Billie Holiday - Maverick and icon - her strength to be a core vibration within at that time a world of music predominantly booking only male singers of rasping, smooth melodies, and taunting voice - was nonetheless iconic and still to this day, there is not a coffee shop around the world, that doesn't play her timeless songs that most will know - her staying power, her drawling out any word she chose - is and why she was able to again, drop jaws with her mastery of voice, control and timing - impeccable timing and knowing her strength and tone and using it to be put in the very middle of a mans-run world and mans' paid world, and she still remains in her iconic presence for her gift
* Jimi Hendrix - the iconic guitar god - left handed guitar genius - true genius and none had a shorter yet more profound career and that today there is not an obsessed young musician that will not pull out any Jimi Hendrix song to try and replicate his effortless talent that again, cannot and simply will never be replicated in the shortest length he graced the world
- when you see the rare few videos of Jimi simply doing what he does - it is genius and smooth as if he is not even there but a ghost of a genius holding the guitar the wrong way - and looks odd as at the time his genius ripped through rock n roll - the guitars he used were 'right handed' guitars
- He was humble, he was effortless in his play, and I made it my mission to introduce my children to Jimi when they began their guitar - showing the rare footage of him - and in that day- they had to string the guitar the bottom up due to the right handed being played left handed - and he simply played as if there was nothing even there - but his genius - he was a magician truly and magical and what being an icon is for any that even today - new players and old players will hear the guitar licks as a 'how'd he do that' go to inspiration -
* Led Zepplin - iconic rock band of simply great musicians and lyricists that made the most complex of storytelling sound like a chill night drinking beer and wondering if music like this will ever be made again
- - the bass and drums staple the presentation of all their songs and fluid lyrics that will never replicated and are written on the walls of the 'rock N roll' hall of fame that every soul on the planet have danced to at high school proms and parties - - no rock enthusiast will ever be a creator and inspiration without the compilations of this band - the bass in 'Ramble on' is one of the most unmistakable and irreplaceable scores that simply without - the song would not be what it is and will ever be - - this is what makes a band iconic - and how could any other bass segment could have been inserted and made the song the song and again, only 1 of the ample suites and sets that take you to other places in seamless composing, arrangement, and musical authentic range that only Led Zeppelin could have created
* Micheal Hutchence - I chose Michael Hutchence over Kurt Cobain - - I may get flack for this but I have a reason - and it is vibrational
- - - Michael was one of those beings that was simply meant to be on stage - his energy, his presence, his light, and his excitement to create and keep creating was like a triple shot of espresso and you would see it almost all of their sets - live or recording - creative genius and bringing the ease of his flamboyance an invitation to all - he truly loved what he did and his energy of this dripped into all hearts that bought what he musically knew was his talent
I chose Michael for the pure and raw reason of vibration and his 'CONNECTION" with the collective - every creative offering he seemed to jump off the stage into the crowd, he loved the crowd, they loved him, and he sang for them; there was intentional connection - few artists 'get' this - some are simply ego-ically caught up in themselves - without connection you have no song - no art
- who he wrote for, he was a genius lyricist and could sing his effortless voice to any line of any song and make it sound like 'how could it have been any different'
- - Curt a very talented being, brought Grunge to the fore, but he could care less of the people in front of him, and the energy of his offering simply stated his lack of care for what who how was before him - that is just the energy I read - just the music he wanted to make oftentimes, at the expense of the rest of his band, and perhaps in his wounded soul got the best of him, and it showed in the lack of connection he had with those that truly loved him - -
* Freddy Mercury - Icon and Maverick - he was again, rare, raw, never again, never before, - the genius of this band, the musical and theatrical presence that was unmatched and their drive to maintain their appeal to thier presentation and what made them happy in creating - the composition, relentless approach to their music and trusting in the colour of Freddy to be exactly as he would be - - he saw, he knew, he was tuned in to what was creative genius - he was pure threading of talent and it was divine intervention for him to be sewn into the band how he was - he was an icon for many reasons - a band that represented even to this day 'theatrical music' that is unmatched and voice to bring the lyrics to life that only Queen could have done - there will never be another band like Queen, nor lead singer and musician of such magnitude of Freddy Mercury - icon extraordinaire - - he realized the true importance of 'being a band' and he salvaged their core purpose right before his death and created mesmerizing all time remembered performances - for that he is an icon - and did not let the 'bad industry' hooks and baiting take him into 'band destruction' - -
* Lauryn Hill & the Fugees - What can we say - Iconic and maverick - Lauryn and the fugees made way for every DF that dreamed of rolling lyrics and rhymes to make something sound so unexpected but how could it have been any other way
- one of the best lines, rhymes of only Lauryn-ism, 'defacating on your microphone' and could have only been spilled by her, said by her, and seemed as if, the song would not have been the same, and none will rhyme in the way their tracks effortlessly came together from the passion of what she claimed decades later to be 'experience of life' and then connecting with 'experience of how and why life was the way it was' and her commitment to her craft
- create because you are inspired and living life of life - the emotional caress that is life moving through you - Creational process cannot be forced in the studio when you are not living life
- the process is very real and tangible, unique to each - and there are some creators that simply will not 'put something out for the sake of money, or a contract' - - they will create in their terms and in their magic of process to inspire, create, express - for those that 'feel what you have to feel' and then allow the creative genius to be
- Lauryn brought sultry songs, confidence, raw truth, and passion for connection with her life experience - what any profound artist and lyricist can bring when its needed - the perfect line will be there and none can imagine a better line - -
- The fugees for many reasons; lyricism, composition, the harmonies of their voices is unmatched and when they came together it was magical - Lauryn holding her own and leading, and the foundation of fugees, bringing the unexpected layering of their tones, sound, musical flow again is unique and can tell a fugee song to any other - they brought for the first time in the way that Lauryn was able to sew words like melting butter and heavy bass to bring iconic rythyms that is still a go to beat on any playlist
* RUSH - Icon and Mavericks for many reasons - lyrical genius's - musical geniuses and composers, musical and technical difficulty of what they created, arranged, building and breaking tension in all their songs, storytelling unmatched, creative and futuristic songs and downloads - as if Neil was the Nostradamus of Progressive rock - and it is said 'you become smarter listening to RUSH' - - for many reasons and I will keep writing and offering how important RUSH has been to music, the creation of progressive sound, intelligent writing, is to our evolution - -
~~~ Rush genius - they are the first, genius of placing unique, off the cuff, altering of an entire song and shift it within a note, half a bar, and bring in an entirely new tempo and it is not basic notes they play, they are technical and timing precision masters and all have to play their equal parts for songs like La Villa Strangiato to a place of 'impossible' and why recording live was a challenge for them - the time signature shifts are unheard of at 7/8 timing and more complexity than that - shift within a bar - and only 3 of them to be as unexpected in precision as they are - is insane
~~~ all of Rush members are star seeds - they were brought together divinely for their genius to be what it was - and never ever to be replicated after the death of Neil, the 'professor' drummer, lyricists, composer, arranger, and divine story-teller - the genius is unmatched and all being called, known for being the 'misfits' of rock and roll; not the most attractive, they went against what was 'rock & roll' icons of sexiness and hard core partying - they chose to simply tag along with the partiers and focus on great music -
~~ at that time, the most creative and progressive to try, create, sample and stay true to their talent and go outside what the 'industry' wanted of them, they remained true to their inner alignment of creating the most technical music they could and never play the same rolls, licks, fills, in the same tour
- every night they strove to make the old new - they were this synchronized, most prolific writers, and technical bands ever to bring over 30 yrs, and even more albums to span generations, span the talent seeking new musicians in what in that time era - there was no internet to learn their instruments from youtube videos tutorials as my kids do today - they simply took every disciplined focussed on their craft - they were relentless at the 'reinvention' for every album; steadfast to remain true to their desire for great music, and the composition -
~~~ each of these players, musicians were focussed on their craft, their strength and they never out-ego'ed one another - their commitment to allow each to shine, each be the centre, and each be to the millisecond aligned to any improvised note and drawling out of a song - - they all were the most synchronized band and in such impossible songs as "La Via Strangiato - - Xanadu ( link here - Xanadu - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VuHS-gjMiVw )
~~~ what makes RUSH a foundational band of era genius of artistry is their musical talent and composition - the layering and building into a story of the message, the song, the lyrics, the musical nuance that no other band would have thought of, did, or even can replicate - and why many of their songs written so long ago - are seen unfolding and how tuned in Neil and the band was to their inner creative genius - his authentic and creative obsession to create was his passion - he wrote 5 books, wrote, composed over 30 albums of progressive music 'never been done before arrangements' of technical difficulty, and brought the lessons of his craft to instructional videos for drummers of generations to come and offered in any rare interview - his humility and commitment to being compassionate about humanity and our journey through life - true genuine and authentic genius - why they will be forever loved - humble, genius musicians

* Tupac - Rap R& B - compilations and genius lyricist - his leathery voice unmistakable and no other can sound nor should ever try to sound like Tupac - he is a part of my soul family and I channel him frequently - he is a messenger for the new musical arts timelines for humanity
- and I am happy to be his voice on certain topics - - he did want me to mention 'biggie' -- (for his healing) - and what he knew biggie overcame and then succumbed to as most in that era and affiliations
- I told Tupac that I didn't feel the vibration of Biggie being in this article - but I offered as a good will for Tupac and he said 'his rhymes got him outta there' and this being his reason for being an icon - -
Tupac - 'bring it my girl' - - ok - I simply love and adore his voice
- his musical genius outweighs and sets the foundation of any and all rap - it just does
- and any and all rap is somehow linked to a truth, a story, a connection, a way that he was a maverick in bringing to light that no other rapper was able to do
- he was born with a mission and I log Tupac within the same category of icons, mavericks with Lady Di - they were both star seeds, incredibly talented, and both had to overcome rather profound injustices, misjudgement, discriminations, poverty and elitism but they set stories of compassion and truth telling to a new level that brought connection, relatability and human-ness to all music and all they did
- even if there are those that do not listen to rap on a daily basis - one can go to any Tupac song and fall in love with his offering - - it was raw, real, compassionate to his truth, relatable and his perspective, seeing, his life and the life of what was competition in a world when it could have focussed on art than 'industry'
~~ Source will bring the divine in any and all - and how has our conditioning and judgements clouded our potential to share, express, love, be more - be higher - they both had incredible missions and both were taken -
Be his journey in jail, or on the streets, he knew, he was tapped in, he was connected to real issues and his artistry was in the lyrical genius and rhythmic symmetry of his words, lines, and leathery voice - again, there will simply be no other that can be nor should they ever want to be - - - never be another - but iconic in their genuine representation of their era of truth, connection, changing music forever and loss of what has been vacant since his death -
* Eminem - Rap R& B compilations - Creative genius and lyricist, expressionism extraordinaire and rare bold vibration - be it skit, comedy, dis, elegance of a gutt wrenching loss, or twisted story of blatant truth of corrupt human-ness, his energy and offering is undeniable and palpable by the millions that adore his refreshing and always authentic presence
~~ blunt, blatant, oftentimes uncomfortable with his 'rough truthful' appeal, is the profound strength of raw story-telling, unmatched soul-ripping connection to truth in only the way he can perceive and bring to life what was heretofore 'not said before, nor read before, or presented in quit the way he does and will' and exactly what a collective needs, needed when he first arrived on the scene, and surpassed all conformed expectations of discrimination in his own right of a business predominantly owned and operated sung, graced by black artists only
~~ He has been a staple of creative stretch that will simply not be replicated - and for many reasons that go far deeper than this one article can go into and I hope to have many more conversations about this genius in times to come - this is a vibrational offering I am giving here so open and dig in - - -

- still alive and well today - one of the few DF musicians that have been the 'go to' compilation for all new foundational DF singers and songwriters - her songs decades old - still can bring any young woman into her own being-ness if you surrender into her powerful and profound genius songwriting - her storytelling making her a songwriter for movies and new era of energy and musicians as she too is a star seed and even offering her perspective on 'high sensitive' understanding and bringing new heights to how we see, know, experience the creative genius -
